When you sign on to become an Authorised member of Ice Dragons, we will need certain information, such as your contact details, employment and financial status.

For entrepreneurs seeking to raise capital we will need information about your business and Directors.

We will combine this with information we receive from third parties such as Compliance Assist Ltd. We refer to all of this as your "Personal Data".

Processing and Storing Your Personal Data

The reasons for processing and storing your Personal Data are:

  • To confirm your identity in order to create your account and ensure that you are eligible to use the services provided by Ice Dragons.
  • In the case of Investors, to ensure you are eligible to make investments through Ice Dragons.
  • To carry out the required anti-money laundering checks on you in connection with the transactions (investing or raising funds) that you may under take via Ice Dragons.
  • In the case of entrepreneurs seeking capital, to verify the disclosures you make about yourself, your business and Directors.
  • To provide you with details of fund raising projects that we think may be of interest to you (unless you have opted out of receiving such e-mails).
  • To allow us to comply with all our legal and regulatory obligations.


We Will Not Share Your Personal Data


Personal Data will be kept confidential and we will not disclose other than to:

  • Allow our third part partner (Compliance Assist) to provide Identity checking and money laundering services to Ice Dragons.
  • Allow Go Cardless to process payments in the event of a successful fund raising.  Ice Dragons does not see or hold your bank account details.
  • We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that any service provider keeps your Personal Data confidential.
  •  Allow any third party to maintain the share register; communicate with shareholders; and communicate with you to convene and hold general meetings.
  • If the law requires or permits disclosure or there is a duty to the public to reveal it
  • If we are asked to do so by the Financial Conduct Authority to whom we have to submit a report on a monthly basis.

We will employ appropriate security measures such as encryption technology given the nature of the data.  However, you recognise that your use of the Internet (and our website) is entirely at your own risk.
